Lyndell was born in Sydney Australia

From the time Lyndell's  mum bought her,her first John Denver LP

  aged 10,she was inspired to dig out her brothers old acoustic guitar from under the bed and teach herself how to play!

"From the day i picked up my very first guitar,there havent been many days inbetween where i havent played or sung".

After many years playing in rock bands Lyndell decided it was time to go it alone "i put my Gibson up on the shelf and bought myself a new Fender acoustic".

"I love the feeling of playing solo,if you pull it off and they dig it,then its all because of you,its a reaction completely out of your control"!

Influenced by Dylan to Faithful from Joplin to Perry & Simone to Green,Lyndell writes from the heart and plays from the soul.

With a raw emotional vocal and a classic guitar strum,this is a solo gig you wont forget in a hurry!

update for 2009

Over the last 18 months Lyndell has been playing  solo gigs and promoting her Legal Jelly EP.

She continues to play solo gigs but is also playing as one 1/2 of The Sleepy Maid with  Lauren who is a talented,out of control,awesome,hot drummer.

With only 2 members The Sleepy Maid rock!
